Gravity – Official Movie Trailer 2013

I’m not a fan of outer space.
I mean I like sci-fi movies and I like stories that take place in outer space. But if given the choice, personally, to travel the stars to explore new worlds or stay on our humble planet Earth, I’ll take staying on planet Earth 100% of the time.
The reason for this is because as much as it is in our human nature to explore, our human bodies are not designed to live in outer space. Which can lead to several terrifying and torturous scenarios.
Alfonso Cuaron’s latest film GRAVITY explores one of them.
George Clooney and Sandra Bullock are astronauts out on a space walk, when disaster strikes sending both of them spiraling out into limitless space.
Sandra Bullock Gravity
Besides the fascinating subject matter and star power of Bullock and Clooney, another reason to check out this film is that it is the first film from director Alfonso Cuaron since his critically acclaimed work in CHILDREN OF MEN. If the reader has seen that film, they’ll know that Cuaron is one of the most exciting directors working today. And that he has an amazing artistic vision with the ability to use his talents to stunning, and groundbreaking effect.
Based on this trailer, we can see that he obviously hasn’t lost his touch.
GRAVITY stars Sandra Bullock, and George Clooney. The film is written by Alfonso Cuaron and Jonas Cuaron and is directed by Alfonso Cuaron. GRAVITY is scheduled for release October 4, 2013. It will also be presented in 3D.

Official Synopsis:

Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
