The Hangover Part 3 – Official Movie Trailer

It All Ends is the tagline for The Hangover Part III, and what a comic adventure it’s been. Part one and two followed a similar formula of the main characters played by Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms losing their memories after a night of debauchary due to being drugged with Rohypnol. In this chapter, writer and director Todd Phillips has promised that Part III will stray from that formula. What we see here in the trailer of the final chapter looks to be more action/mystery oriented than the previous films as the location shifts back to Las Vegas. The film also seems to have a darker, more menacing tone. That of course doesn’t mean that it won’t be funny. Also returning in the final chapter is series mainstay Ken Jeong and part 1 participants, Mike Epps and Heather Graham. Rounding out the cast will be scene stealer, Mike Tyson.
Will the change in tone and series formula effect the quality of the film? Personally, I’m glad to see them move away from the lost memory, putting lost pieces together format of the series. The strength of the films has always been the comedic chemistry of it’s affable cast. To see them in something different, but as the same characters will not only be refreshing but could prove lead to the best film in the franchise.
